What if you could welcome change and enjoy the process of doing new things? How would work be different if you were confident when being outside your comfort zone? What growth would you and your team have if you avoided being stuck? Discover the reframes that ensure that you can’t do this wrong.


In this session, you will:
 1. Understand how you get stuck and why
 2. Explore easy methods to shift your mindset from fear and limited thinking to possibility and creativity
 3. Determine strategies you can use right now in your work to be more confident in your decision-making

About the presenter:
Meg Niman (she/they) is the founder of The Persona Project. She discovered the power of personas after a year of epic change. 

She designed a persona to create opportunity from heartbreak. Her persona, Dee, has led to her success as a facilitator and brought her to international stages including SXSW 2023 & 2024.

Meg draws on her 17 years as a user experience designer at top tech companies including Microsoft, Fitbit, LeapFrog, and NIO to treat our work problems as design challenges. 

Meg focuses on people in transition: emerging leaders, new managers, career changers, acquisition employees, and even young people forging their identities. She empowers them to shift from uncomfortable to confident.

In addition to her tech experience, Meg incorporates learnings from being a certified classroom teacher and Teach For America alum as well as her training in yoga and her background in mindfulness. She holds a BA in Cognitive Science from Wellesley College.
