This session provides a high-level introduction to Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), including the business case and value proposition for having them. Attendees will explore the foundations of an ERG and learn how to start one within their organization. Time will be allocated for Q&A.

About the presenter:

Richelle Caday (she/her) is a DEI champion and Employee Resource Group (ERG) expert. As a Senior Associate of ERG Advisory at Seramount, Richelle supports best-in-class advisory by conducting research that synthesizes complex ERG and DEI ideas into actionable solutions for over 350 membership partners from various industries, inclusive of Fortune 500 companies, government institutions, and not-for-profit organizations.

 

Driven by community organizing and social advocacy, especially within her own Filipino and Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) spaces, Richelle has a strong commitment to uplifting marginalized and underserved communities. Before Seramount, she led student development and inclusion programs within higher education student affairs. She has also worked for and volunteered with various AAPI nonprofits and community-based organizations at local and national levels.

 

Richelle holds a dual bachelor's degree in Psychology and Non-Governmental Organizations and Social Change from the University of Southern California (fight on!). Based in her hometown of Los Angeles, California, she enjoys attending concerts and music festivals, going to the beach, and exploring new foodie dishes.
